The exhibition 'Nature Humaine – Humaine Nature' poses the question of the relationship between humans and nature, the future and how we are shaping it today.
We designed a hundred-page catalogue showcasing the artworks exhibited at the foundation. The cover of the publication features a canvas-textured paper, creating both visual and tactile tension with a photo of Otobong Nkanga's artwork. The spine is colored in yellow using the jaspage technique, highlighting the purple aspect of the cover.

The catalogue breaks from the stereotypical aesthetic of “nature” and instead embraces a classic magazine format. It showcases the exhibited artworks, either confronting or juxtaposing them.

We laid out an interview between the curators Bice Curiger, Margaux Bonopera and Julia Marchand who describe, analyze, and connect the artworks, creating points of connection between the pieces. Our layout features column arrangements that play with both text and images.

We chose Polysan from Gradient Type for the entire graphic identity of the exhibition, characterized by its subtle soft-edge inktraps. We used it for the catalogue, as well as for the posters and invitations. It was also used both inside the foundation and outside for the signage.

We designed posters, invitations and press advertisements with a close-up of Shara Hughes‘ artpiece.
